COMPUTER MAINTENANCE

The following programs are FREE unless noted otherwise. Some of them have paid versions that can be purchased that have added features.  In combination they have kept my computer free of viruses, adware, malware and spyware.  In most cases they will speed up a sluggish computer greatly and enhance your computing experience.


VIRUS PROTECTION

• Microsoft Essentials  (Very good free Anti-Virus Protection)
• Avast!     (Very good free Anti-Virus Protection)
• K7 Antivirus   (To be used as needed when you think you have a virus)

MALWARE/ADWARE/SPYWARE REMOVAL

• Malwarebytes   (A main stay for guarding against Malware that slows your computer to a crawl) 
• SuperAntiSpyware Free Edition  (Removes Spyware other programs fail to remove)
• Spybot Search & Destroy   (Another solid program to assist in Spyware removal)
