Pastor Greg & Audrey Hooker

Pastor Greg, his wife Audrey and their Golden Retriever, ‘Copper’; live in the scenic area of the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee. They were married in 1980 and have three grown children and three grandchildren.
Greg and Audrey both accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior in 1977 at Gunning’s Baptist Church, located in Kingsport, Tennessee and were baptized in Reedy Creek. Later, the Lord began calling Greg to the Gospel ministry and he was ordained in 1994. Shortly thereafter he graduated from Bethany Baptist Theological Seminary in Dothan, Alabama.
Greg and Audrey love to hike, ride bikes and make custom jewelry. One of their goals is to finish hiking the Appalachian Trail spanning 2175 miles. Pastor Greg’s favorite verse of scripture is Philippians 3:13, "Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before..."
