WHERE DOES YOUR HOPE LIE?

“And now, Lord, what wait I for? my hope [is] in thee.” - PSALM 39:7
Dear friends, never loose sight of the hope we have in the Lord during these difficult times. Hope is what gets us out of bed in the morning. Hope is what gets us through the day. Hope is what calms our minds for rest at night. Hope is the wind behind our sails. Hope is the air we breath and the water we drink. Hope gives us strength when we are weary. Hope brings light into the darkest of days and sustains us to the end.
We have a hope unlike the world of gloom and doom. Our hope was established and entrusted to us when Christ Jesus arose from the grave with the keys of death, Hell and the grave. Since that glorious event, hope is offered to all who will believe. All who will reach out by child-like faith and receive it as a Gift - a Gift of immeasurable worth.
Where does your Hope lie my dear friend? Is it in the system of this world, flesh, or the Devil? None of these things will satisfy your soul. None of these things offer hope in the midst of despair. None of these thing will see you through the dark days ahead.
The only hope mankind has is in the Lord Jesus Christ who made Heaven and earth, who created us in His image, who redeemed us from sin and the curse of the law. Who brought us into His graces. Who delivered us from certain damnation and set us free from the penalty and debt we owed, but couldn’t pay.
The hope of the Lord will never fail us. It will never say no to those who embrace it. It will always lead us throughu the toughest of trials and the roughest of days. It’s a beacon of truth and assurance of better things to come.
Where does your Hope lie my loved ones? Make sure it’s in the hope that only Christ can give.
